Yes, this is how it works. As soon as the device is shared it becomes unavailable for the local use. It disappears from the systems (from your system where it's plugged).

Which is the best way? Or it can't be solved because of the feature of modern USB technology?

Both scenarios should work ok. You just have to test both of them and decide which one is the most convenient from you.

allynl93,

Sorry, USB for Remote Desktop will not support the remote connection software you mentioned.

You may try our USB over Network, it works generally over IP, and all you need to know is the USB server's IP address.

The client is not seeing the server. Try disabling firewalls, antiviruses, configuring routers to allow connections on port 33000 etc.

Hope this helps. If not, please write to support@fabulatech.com with more details and screenshots.

Thanks.

Unfortunately USB over Network will not work with Digi Anywhere USB, and all those issues are caused by this. You should use only one of these two products.

But thanks anyway for your interest in our software.

weilv1976,

we have already come across a similar problem but unfortunately it cannot be solved at this point.

Can you try our other product, USB over Network? It basically does the same job but in a different manner.
