Hypver-V Server 2008

Hi,
 
Is there a way to install UoN on the Hyper-V Server host machine.  Bearing in mind it is just a tweaked version of the Windows Server 2008 Core thus commandline only.
 
If possible how then do I manage the UoN without a GUI or can this be done from a remote machine?

In versions 3.8 and later there is a command line utility and thus a possibility to install and manage USB over Network Server from command line. Just install the .msi package, then go to the folder where you've installed the program (like 'c:\Program Files\USB over Network (server)), type 'usbsrvcmd help' and you'll see the list of commands.
But note that it'll work only in Windows Server 64.

Sorry guys I meant that sometimes it may NOT work in Windows Server 2008 64 as depending on the version of Windows USB over Network may still have some compatibility issues. If you're having problems with Windows Server 2008 64, email us or leave a forum message and we'll help you resolve them.

Which is the status of the 4.4 release about Windows Server 2008 x64 R1 and R2 incompatibilities?
 
I may plan to run the server or the client software with such OS.

version 4.4 should work fine on Windows Server 2008 R1 and R2
