Title: Windows cannot load the device driver for this har Post by dwood on Mar 12th, 2008, 8:14am Hi, We have a Safenet UltraPro HASP and after we have installed the driver we get the following error in device manager. Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Any ideas? Thanks Dan |

Title: Re: Windows cannot load the device driver for this Post by Andrew on Mar 13th, 2008, 3:32am Hi Dan, Just let me know, what OS is installed on that PC: WinXP/2000/2003 Server/Vista? 32bit or 64bit? What OS is installed on Server side? And what version of USB over Network do you use? Thanks. |

Title: Re: Windows cannot load the device driver for this Post by dwood on Mar 13th, 2008, 3:38am Andrew, The client is running Windows 2003 Server with SP2 32bit. As this server is currently in testing prior to going live the hasp is being share from a Windows XP SP2 32bit host, however the host will be a Windows 2003 Server with SP2 32bit once live. We are using version 3.3.8 of USB over Network. Thanks, Dan |

Title: Re: Windows cannot load the device driver for this Post by dwood on Mar 13th, 2008, 5:55am Andrew, The client is a Guest running on Microsoft's Virtual Server. I have installed 3.3.9 and rebooted both the usb client and host and it appears to be working. Will let you know how I get on. Thanks, Daniel |

Title: Re: Windows cannot load the device driver for this Post by Andrew on Mar 13th, 2008, 6:28am So, it works now! That's good because a lot of our customers use our USB over Network for HASP virtualization purposes. Thanks! |
