Title: Baudrate, Parity Post by Burkhard on Jul 13th, 2005, 10:06am Hello Andrew, I have connected two programms via your Port kit. The port Kit works fine, but there is a little problem: I've connected a Scanner Emulator (9600,8,E,1) and a Software to read Scanner with each other. If the settings of the softwarecomport not equal than the Scannersettings, your Port Kit shouldn't be send or receive any data (like real comports). In V4.73 it makes no difference if the comportsettings of both Partners the same or not the same. It would be amazing if the Port Kit emulates this, too. Greetings Burkhard from Germany |

Title: Re: Baudrate, Parity Post by Burkhard on Jul 14th, 2005, 7:05am Hello, because I need it for testing if the comparameters on both sides correctly. I've developed a software and if I tested it the communication via virtual RS232 with your Port Kit, the communication is already sucessful. Then I start up the Software with the original Equipment, and the real RS232 Connection failed. The Reason was the Baudrate and Parity between the partners was not the same. I can fix this type of problem during the Testphase if the Virtual RS232 Driver emulates this. It is ok if the Port Driver doesn't send or receive any data in this case. Greetings from Germany Burkhard |
