USB over Network Server allows you to assign unique alias (NickName) to any USB device. On client side, this alias serves as additional identification for USB device (e.g., White Flash Drive).
Note: NickName is assigned for all similar USB devices of the same type. In other words, if several identical USB devices are plugged into the computer, they all will have got one NickName.
USB over Network Server is able to distinguish among several similar USB devices, although they look similarly and have the same NickName and description. The program assigns unique number to every USB device according to the port a device is plugged into. This feature allows you to specify the exact device (chosen among identical ones) you want to connect on client side.
